Who I am
Hi, I’m Chiara, the sole creator and formulator behind Bubbles&Spells. I started this brand in Hong Kong because I couldn't find personal care products that could handle our city's extreme climate, the heavy outdoor humidity combined with blast-freezing indoor air conditioning, without being packed in plastic and harsh synthetic chemicals. Every single solid bar, shampoo bar, natural deodorant, bath bomb, you see here is personally formulated and handcrafted by me in small batches to ensure absolute freshness and premium quality. I strip away the water and the cheap fillers to give you pure, highly concentrated botanical nourishment that respects your skin barrier and our Earth. No shortcuts. Just conscious luxury.
In the very beginning I was focused on making bath bombs and sugar scrubs , but then I decided to pursue my passion with Cold Process Soap and to further my personal knowledge with studies and courses with soap master Etsuko Watanabe ( Design Soap Basic Course and Advance Soap Design Course),with soap master Esther Cheng ( Crystal Glass Soap Class), with soap master Amanda Aaron (Transparent Soap from Scratch), and soap master Kazumi Kinoshita - Aroma school Aromatica (The amino acid ice jewellery soap course ).
I keep studying all the safe and eco friendly ingredients around natural skin care and I love to use only naturally sourced raw materials to create my products.
ECO FRIENDLY AND CRUELTY FREE POLICY
My aim is to use less plastic as I can on packaging.
You can help me to reduce plastic using shampoo bar, lotion bar, soap bar and paper packaging deodorant.
Bubbles&Spells truly care about the environment and recyclable packaging, and the use of eco-friendly ingredients.
The company is against animal testing and is a cruelty free company.
All products have been tested on family, friends and loyal customers and are held to the highest standards.
INGREDIENTS
Bubbles&Spells use high quality raw ingredients (oils, butters, essences) and materials from Italy, GB and USA and Hong Kong.
All bath bombs sold by Bubbles&Spells are fully compliant with EU-UK cosmetic regulations.
Bubbles&Spells bath bomb formulation has a Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR), it is legally assessed and meet the criteria for safety specified by the requirements of Art.3 of REGULATION (EC) No.1223.2009 in accordance with good manufacturing practices.
By purchasing my items, you agree that you will not hold BUBBLES&SPELLS responsible if you should have an allergic reaction from using my products. All ingredients are listed in the item description. If you have any questions, please message me first. Use items at your own discretion.
BUBBLES&SPELLS creates small-batches of handcrafted cold process soaps as well as other hair and body products.
All soap bars are handmade with natural, skin-loving oils and butters minus the harsh chemicals and detergents found in most store bought soaps.
We create in small batches so your products are always fresh.
Most of our products are 100% vegan.
Soaps, lotion bars, bath bombs NEVER contain a preservative.
Please note that our preservative is used at a minimum because in some products, it is NECESSARY.
All ingredients are responsibly sourced.
ALL products are Cruelty Free.
